面对目前北美留学申请中日益增加的托福考试分数要求,越来越多的同学开始更早地进行托福考试的备考。词汇量很显然是备考过程中至关重要的一个环节,同时也是对于终考试分数有着决定性影响的一个重要基础。在同学们背单词的过程中往往希望在有限的时间里效地背诵记忆考试做题过程中常遇到的单词,而不是花费大量时间精力背了很多几乎不怎么用得上或者考试中只出现过一两次的高难度生僻词。这也就是编写团队创作这本词汇书的出发点和目的。

2. 难度分级 本书将所有词汇分为基础词汇、强化词汇、进阶词汇三个大的板块,以针对不同词汇量基础的使用者。其中基础词汇相当于国内高考词汇的难度,强化词汇相当于四六级考试的词汇量要求,而进阶词汇则是高于前两者、属于托福考试难度的词汇。考生可以根据自己目前的词汇量基础选择开始背诵的级别,并终攻克进阶词汇来使自己达到托福考试的词汇量要求。
